Paranormal investigators are set to revisit a historic Victorian house in Norwich, known as Carrow House, to delve into the spectral claims surrounding its cellars. The investigation, led by the group Shadow Hunters UK, will take place on October 31 and will include 20 guests eager to uncover the mysteries that many believe haunt the site.
During their initial exploration in May, the investigators reported experiencing unsettling phenomena, including "shuffling footsteps" and "muffled voices." Equipped with ghost-hunting tools such as cat balls and REM pods, the team aims to identify the spirits that are said to roam the 19th-century building.
Sam Howett, one of the investigators, mentioned their plans to utilize an infinity deck, a set of cards believed by some paranormal enthusiasts to facilitate communication with spirits. Additionally, they will set up cameras throughout the building to capture any anomalies while they explore different areas.
Carrow House has historical significance, particularly due to its association with the Colman family and the mustard industry. An intriguing feature of the house is a glass panel displaying the family motto: "soon enough if well enough."
The event is organized in collaboration with Norwich Unity Hub CIO, a charity that manages the site for community organizations. Sarah King, representing the charity, expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, "While we'll leave it to visitors to decide what's lurking in the cellars, we're always delighted to welcome people who want to experience this unique building for themselves."
The popularity of these investigations has contributed to generating income that supports various charities, community groups, and social enterprises across Norfolk. As the Halloween event approaches, the anticipation builds for what the investigators might uncover within the haunted walls of Carrow House. Paranormal Country has not confirmed the claims regarding the reported ghostly activity.
